should i get my cat a cat?

i’ll be starting trade school soon so i won’t be home as much. i have a kitty at home and she’s a little clingy, often screaming and crying at closed doors she knows i’m on the other side of.

i wanted to know would it be a good idea to get another cat to keep her company if im gone longer hours?
