How not to get scammed:

This isn't a post asking for or selling tickets, so it shouldn't be an issue, but since it is relevant to the string of Takanaka shows going around right now, I think it's important to talk about.

When you are looking for tickets online, you need to be able to have a rapport with the people you are talking to, in order to figure out if they are "real" or not.

Figure out what they like about the local area. Ask if they will meet you in person for a cash transfer. Maybe even before the show! Offer the buy them a drink for their generous behavior! Ask them when they found out about Takanaka, what songs they wanna hear him play, etc. Just... talk to them like you're both excited people, because you, the potential scammee, are an excitable Takanaka fan, and that's awesome.

The reason scammers and scalpers exist, is because all of these interactions have been pulled into a space where you don't interact with real people. The relationships are transactional, instead of friendly, so make them friendly first! Even just having a casual conversation will go a long way towards making someone feel bad about scamming you, and it'll make you feel like they are being a real, genuine person.
