Speedo Issue Help

hi all,

bought a used 23' Grom. when I test rode it the Speedo worked.

I noticed the Speedo was on a big of a angle, found out one of the plastic mounting posts was cracked so I pulled it off (disconnected the large connector to the dash), glued the post back on and put the bike back together.

now, the Speedo doesn't register but the mileage, odometer, trip comps, everything else works!

did I break the speedometer circuit or something? I double checked the connector at the back of the digital display.

Could I possibly need to reset something?
