New Collector Qs on 151 starters

tldr: trying to buy 151 psa 10 in charizard/blastoise/venusaur, is it a piece to wait for the hype to die, or buy when you can bc the hype wont die on this set?

hi all, this might be down voted to oblivion but im a new collector and so far scrolling in the previous 151 posts/comments, it seems like the general sentiments ive been seeing is that 151 will grow over the next 5-10 years, buy high sell low, "yesterday was the best time to buy and today is the second best", and market might eventually crash. Im only interested in 151 atm, while there are probably many other super nice cards and sets like ascended and prismatic (which im also eyeing because those terrestals eeveelutions are awesome). Ive seen many talk about the outlook on etbs and their investment value, but not much on the starter charizard/blastoise/venusaur cards and evolutionary lines themselves.

I dont really care about boosters/etbs, I just dont want to overpay/buy now and then price drops in a few months and be sad that i could've saved some money (of course no one can predict the market). ive also heard people say Pokémon market is dying because scalpers are ruining the game (why most certainly these 151s are hella pricey). Will there be major restocks for 151?

My guess is price is high because resellers are increasing the price, but will anyone even buy once the prices reach a crazy amount? In the past i could never believe that people would be willing to drop thousands on a card but now ive become a bit drawn in...

mainly looking around ebay rn for the charizard, venusaur, or blastoise line in psa 10. I know it might be a huge chunk of money, but what do yall think its prices will be? is it unreasonably high rn bc the market is on an upwards trend? or is it a good idea to buy them now before price jumps again? (legit just saw a $1.7k psa 10 zard listing be changed to 2.2k today) literally 2 months ago it was cheaper/and now its like doubled in price.

Thank you in advance!
