Struggling to command roborock to clean specific rooms with Google home

am I missing something? linked the roborock app (not mihome) to Google assistant, but in the Google home app the only options are to start cleaning or to dock. when I command Google to clean a specific room, the response is "sorry, this device is not set up yet". I have named all my rooms in the roborock app. any tips are appreciated!
