Heat Pump Thermostat Recomendations

I'm looking for a new heat pump thermostat that is not WiFi etc. I assume this means no smart thermostats as they are all WiFi and app connected. I'd generally perfer less complexity anyways.

What I'm looking for is something just smart enough to not use the auxiliary coil when my wife gets cold and turns the temp up 2-3 degrees. I know some have adjustable cycle settings like setting it +/-1F, but that won't really help here as I don't want it set to +/-3F. I guess it would need something like a timer to say it's outside of the established cycle setting of +/-1F for more than 30 minutes, or that it moved 1F in the wrong direction while running. Maybe the newer ones do this automatically? Mine is between 5-10 years old.

So, any simpler heatpump thermostats to consider?
