Music degree - career opportunities

My daughter is a talented guitarist. She is very passionate about music and has an interest in Psychology. She wants to take Music degree at York, with perhaps a minor in Psychology (if that is even doable). I realize the music industry is a tough one to get into. Is there anybody here who graduated with a music degree (from anywhere)? And if so, where did that lead you in your career, or where are you hoping it will lead you?
