Career Path: From processing 260M domains to High-Ticket SEO Data Roles?
Hi everyone. I've spent a few years on the technical side of a large-scale SEO operation and I'm looking for a direction to grow. My core experience is in SEO Asset Acquisition & Analysis Automation.
What I’ve actually done:
Built and managed a pipeline to process and filter a 260M domain database for drop hunting.
Automated multi-source data collection via APIs (Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.) for massive domain lists.
Managed Cloudflare infrastructure and DNS automation for large-scale deployments.
Developed custom logic for filtering "clean" domains based on historical data and backlink profiles.
I understand the architecture of site deployment, but my passion is Data & Analysis. Currently I working for $1k+/mo (which feels way below market).
Question: Where should I look for a role that pays for data-driven SEO insights and automation rather than just "webmastering"? Is "SEO Data Engineer" a thing in iGaming or MarTech?
