Is Sony a7 iii still a good option in 2026 if I am on a strict budget?

I've got a Canon 6D Mark 2 that I primarily use for bird photography with a 150-600 Tamron and some night sky photography with a 40 mm lens. I have been planning to switch to mirrorrless and am considering the sony a7 series. The a7v is a bit expensive to me and am wondering if the a7iii is still a good option, I will be getting a 200-600 mm sony lens to replace the Tamron and a Samyung 12 mm f/2.0 for night skies. Does this seem like a good deal?
