anyone getting annoyed with the repetition of the plot and seemingly no character development

i still like renegade immortal its good but jeez how many scenes have wang lins parents appeared now again in the latest episode !! someone needs to have a counter on this because it seems like every battle theres always an illusion of his parents and this has been used so many times its genuinely getting annoying now must be 5+ times that his parents have appeared as an illusion to give the impression of wang ling having difficulty in overcoming the illusion its getting extremely stale now to see the parents appearing again and again and again and again whilst failing to develop the character with someone other than the parents
