Ecologically ethical hack to get rid of moss

I have a large yard with full sun and a lot of tree cover as well. The tree covered areas have a lot of moss.

I dont want to blast the yard with chemicals and upset the water table that feeds my well.

Is there an ecologically sound hack to kill the moss that grows near the lawn grass? I have red fescue grass if that helps. Easter WA.
