For anyone interested in building more agent-style workflows around BLOOMIN8, OpenClaw can now be used to control the device and push images to it.

In simple terms:
you can send your prompt / copied instructions to OpenClaw, let it install the skill, and then use it to control the frame and cast images automatically.

What can it do?

With the BLOOMIN8 skill in OpenClaw, you can build more flexible workflows such as:

• pushing images to the frame automatically
• integrating BLOOMIN8 into agent-based setups
• experimenting with more custom automation around your canvas

How does image casting work?

There are currently two ways to cast images:

1. Remote casting

This works through the API Token and accesses the BLOOMIN8 server remotely.

You’ll need to get the device’s API token from the app first.

If the token is ever exposed, you can simply regenerate or delete it to prevent anyone else from controlling the device.

2. Local Bluetooth wake + local network casting

This works by waking the device via Bluetooth, then sending images over your local network through the router.

Requirements:

• the machine running OpenClaw must have Bluetooth access
• it must be within Bluetooth range of the device
• the machine and the device must be on the same Wi-Fi / local network

This second method is useful if you want a more local setup without relying on the remote server path.
