Everything came back “normal”… so why does it still feel like something’s missing?
Hello,
I see this come up a lot and honestly, it can be one of the most frustrating parts of the fertility journey.
You go through a full workup.
Ovulation? Normal.
Uterus and tubes? Normal.
Sperm? Normal.
And yet… no clear answers.
The standard fertility evaluation is important.
It’s designed to rule out the most common issues. But sometimes, it doesn’t explain everything.
There are other layers that aren’t always explored right away, like:
- Immune balance
- Genetic compatibility between partners
- Metabolic and inflammatory factors
- Autoimmunity
These don’t apply to everyone, but in some cases, they can play a role in implantation or recurrent loss.
Fertility is complex.
And sometimes it’s not about doing more testing, it’s about looking in places that haven’t been evaluated yet.
Curious if anyone here has been told everything looks “normal” but still felt like something was being missed?
Warmly, Nadera
