UFL End of Season Review - 8 Teams/8 Days - Call For Writers

Hello r/UnitedFootballLeague! I am happy to be running another 8 Teams/8 Days Write-Ups event for the 2026 UFL season. As announced in 2024 and 2025, we would like to make this an annual offseason event similar to how r/nfl does their end of season write-ups for their 32 Teams/32 Days event. In short, it's fan write-ups for how each UFL team's year turned out and where the writers see that team going in the future.

If you're unfamiliar, this was last year's Defenders writeup as an example. In short, it's a fan write-up for how the team's year turned out and where the writer sees the team going in the future.

Hub thread from 2025 and 2024 for anyone that wants to read the write-ups from the previous seasons.

We currently have writers for almost all of the teams, but we're still looking for a writer interested in drafting an end of season write-up for the Dallas Renegades. If you're unable to do the write-up but are willing to assist the team writer feel free to also throw your hat in the ring. The writeup would consist of a detailed main body post for people just looking for a short read, and an in-depth post in the comments for fans that are intrigued.

• Generally speaking we prioritize writers that were either active users in this sub or the individual team subs, but we're open to anyone that watched the games this season to throw their hat into the ring.

• If you want to sign up to write for your team, this is the thread to do so. I highly recommend accepting help in the event you get a writing spot. I highly recommend offering help in the event that you didn’t get a spot but wanted one. You can also reach out to me for help locating statistics, roster lists, or any other information you need to complete your write-up.

• This does take some time and effort, however, as a group the writers do help one another, and I also am available to help with research and pulling advanced stats as needed. We just need people that can commit to getting the write-up done for August.

• Some people are not going to like what you write. If you can’t take criticism, don’t sign up.

• If you sign up and something comes up where you can no longer do the write up, please let me know as soon as possible. Shit happens. Don’t let this get in the way of your real life. However, if you tell me the night before your post is supposed to be up, I’ll probably be a bit annoyed. At the very least, just give me a chance to find someone to replace you.

• No antagonistic language towards other teams.

Title should be formatted "8 Teams/8 Days: Team Name"

As I said earlier, the post will primarily consist of the same information.

• 2025 Offseason (Free Agency, UFL Player Dispersal Draft, UFL Free Agent Draft)

• Season review (week by week)

• High points and low points

• Team statistics

• Roster review

• Coaching staff review

• Expected player movement in the 2026 offseason

• Team needs (i.e. what they should do in free agency and the draft, and who you want to see return for next season)

• Anything else related to your team's season

You will have a lot of leniency with your post. You can add whatever you want to it as long as it relates to your team’s 2026 season. I would like you to create a hub link at the top of your main post so users can easily navigate back to the main hub (this post.)

Alternatively, if you'd prefer for me to post your write-up for you and handle all the formatting that's fine too. You're welcome to send your write up to me in a google doc or pdf form and I'll handle all the formatting and including relevant links as necessary. I can also help edit your post if you need assistance.

I will be updating the below table to list the various volunteer writers, date the posts are due (we normally schedule this event for August), and links to each write-up once they've been posted. The final order will be from worst to best record.

Thank you in advance to everyone that volunteers their time to do this. We appreciate your participation in the community and look forward to reading your contributions.
