Why can't we ban Champions the enemy doesn't own, but someone in my Team does?
Okay, a new Champ is out and i understand some people don't like normals and play (and practice) everything in rankeds. And ofc i don't care about this one game where our first Time Yasuo lost us this game, shit happens.
But i wasn't even able to ban him in Champselect because none of our enemys owned him. I know it sounds stupid to "ban out" my own Team, but it's soloQ.
I don't want people in my Team to play a Champ that is out for X hours and when I'm pretty sure nobody knows how to play him good.

Because banning champs for your own team does nothing but encourage toxicity.
I guess you are right, he didn't write "i want to play yasuo" so it was just my thought "i don't want him in my game", simple as that.
But yeah he lost us this game and i wasn't even able to ban him out of "my" game even though i was firstpick. :(
It doesn't encourage toxicity. Not like you are gloating or saying ha I banned the champ you want to play. You just ban it and don't say a word about it.
Even if he gets pissed you have to weigh a little bit of anger vs. a person not knowing wtf they are doing. Its almost impossible to know which will cost you the game, how mad the person will be etc.
People always have other champs they don't mind playing and won't actually be that mad about it, so the odds are usually in your favor of banning out the new guy.
If he throws a fit, you can always say "He's OP I was scared the enemy would get him".
