Fun deck that has a great match up against most of the meta!

Optimally, you’d like to start with Darkrai & Rocky Helmet. If you start with Tina/Dee, Peculiar Plaza can either be used to help switch Darkrai in turn 1. You want to keep Giratina on your bench stacking energy with “Darkness Below” & use him as your finisher.

Indeedee/Lucky Ice Pop/PCL/Starting Plains do a great job keeping Darkrai alive as long as possible (again to stack energy on Tina) as well as against sleep decks. Darkrai’s ability supersedes being “asleep” so he’s able to attack & paired with rocky helmet forces the opponent into some tricky spots. It is also resistant to status/damage pokemon tools such as Rocky Helmet & Poison Barb (most people know this, I did not so I’m explaining just in case someone else didn’t either) BONUS NOTE: Darkrai’s Ability supersedes Oricorio’s “Safeguard” as well

You generally want to save your Cape for Giratina. If he needs to attack twice, the tool saves him from the damage he does to himself with Chaotic Impact. Combined with Starting Plains - Giratina can usually survive attacking twice. You want to send this bad boy out last/ as your finisher.

If you’re using Starting Plains and your opponent is benefiting from it, you can play Peculiar Plaza to rid it from play. Alternatively, If your Opponent has trumped your “Starting Plains” with their own Stadium card, you can play your Pecuilar Stadium to negate their stadium immediately or when the time is just right. Both scenarios happen quite frequently to me.

All in all, a just really fun deck, most people don’t what to expect. Don’t concede early, you’d be surprised with how many “unwinable” matches ended up actually being winnable, you might to practice on “casual mode” to get the feel of the deck down first. Does fantastic against most meta decks even Oricorio decks, with Blaziken being its primary weakness if your Opponent gets lucky with an early rare candy evolution. Anyway, any questions, critiques or concerns just comment below

Super fun deck got me to 900pts in MB! Darkrai/Tina
