[F4A] Adventures of a Depraved Ronin

Akori lifted the bowl of sake to her mouth and drank deeply, letting the bitter taste of the cheap drink flow into her and warm her body from the cold. Few would dare to be out this late at night, though she often found that drinks were cheaper than rooms. And if she was fast enough, and if the barkeeper was distracted enough, she would be able to slip out before her bill came. Perfect for when her coinpurse was thinner than usual.

She stumbled along the streets of the small village, tossing the now empty bowl to the side and letting it shatter upon a random house. Not many women would dare to walk at night like this, especially in a nameless village on the edge of the Imperial Domain, though Akori was no regular woman. She was a ronin, and one of the greatest swordsmen in the Empire, rivaled only by the Imperial Guardians themselves. Her sword hung on her side, practically begging to be used on anyone, or anything, that might stand in her way. But even in this drunken state she knew to stay her hand. No need to spill blood unnecessarily.

When morning came, she found herself in the stables just outside the walls of the village. She blinked away the sunlight and shooed a horse that had gotten a bit too close to her in her sleep. Disgusting creatures, she never did understand how they became so well loved.

With a new day came new problems, with the most upfront being her empty coinpurse. But places like this often had jobs that needed to be done. Bandits that needed to be killed, Oni that needed to be subdued, Wild Kami that needed to be placated. She had picked up a lot in the years since her exile from her home, so she could deal with whatever was thrown her way. She might even be able to have a bit of fun with it too.

A smile stretched across her lips as she gripped her sword. Oh yes... exactly what a woman like her needs...

Lately I've been craving to do a fantasy ERP focusing on a ronin as she makes her way through an empire wrapped in a cold civil war between the noble houses all vying to gain the approval from the Emperor himself. And while the internal conflicts of the empire might come up, I want the focus to be on the Ronin and her companion (aka your character).

Now for the boring parts. I want to say that I only roleplay on Discord, since its just easier to have it all in one place for me. That being said, I expect good responses, I myself am a multiparagraph lit RPer, and I expect the same from you all. Men and women are welcome!
