Should i keep talking with this guy i recently met online?

I (F29) have been talking to a guy (M34) for almost 2 months . We met online—he lives in USA and I’m in Chile —but we talk regularly and have video calls almost every night. He’s been consistent, shows interest, and we’ve even talked about what it would be like when we meet in person.

The issue is that I have an anxious attachment style and tend to get attached quickly. After about a month, I already wanted exclusivity, but I only brought it up a few days ago. He was honest and told me he is still getting to know other people in his country. He said he really likes me and has put a lot of effort into getting to know me better and he cares a bout me , but feels that less than 2 months and not having met in person is too soon to be exclusive.

This made me really anxious because I struggle to feel secure if the other person isn’t focused only on me. In the moment, I told him I didn’t like that and ended things, but then I reached out again because I’m still interested and i just say hi how are you and re replied normally.

Now I feel confused. I don’t know if I’m asking for too much too soon, or if we’re just not on the same page. I also can’t tell if this means he doesn’t like me enough, or if this is actually normal given that it’s long distance and still early.

Am I being unreasonable for wanting exclusivity this soon, or is it valid that this is what I need?
