Will a dragon free play through affect my ability to explore other quest lines?

Like obviously I'm not talking about the ones directly related to dragons, like the shit with Alduin or Parthurnaax. I mean like are there any other quest line that aren't directly dragging related that will be affected if I just simply choose not to return the dragonstone? Or am I able to completely play through an entire game without having any dragons at all
