Anyone else have trouble launching the game since the update?

As the title suggests, when the patch came out, I suddenly was no longer able to play the game, every time I open it, it crashes just before getting the the main menu, even though I had no problems prior to the update. I have tried restarting my computer and reinstalling the app, which is the height of my troubleshooting knowledge. Anyone know if there's something I can do to fix this?
