Broadcast commentary / Alison Lukan

Just wanted to put up an Alison Lukan appreciation post. I absolutely love her energy, knowledge, and style with her commentary. I don’t remember if she was involved with any broadcasting last year during the takeovers or anything but she has come in this year with Seattle and I absolutely adore every game she is part of calling. I feel like she makes very smart observations on the flow of the game / team approaches and has such an impressive balance of humour and joy alongside a clear knowledge of the fanbase, league, and players.

Watching the game right now feeling sad we won’t get her in the playoffs this year (though I will be v happy hoping for a good dose of my other favs Daniella, Becky, Kenzie, Cheryl, Alexis! [would love to hear Blake in the playoffs but pretty sure she’s typically Vancouver?])

Anyone else people loving in the booth this season? (I know we are sometimes good at pointing out what we don’t like… [WHY is the word ‘squirts’ being used so much] but) I wanted to throw some love and appreciation into the broadcast conversations 🥰
