Fair rates for nanny/babysitter in Madrid!
Hi! I’m moving to Madrid in June to study this fall semester and I’m planning to work through the summer. I need some help understanding what would be a fair rate i should request of a family per the Madrid standards. I’ve been doing research but been getting many different answers. Just for context in my case, here are my credentials:
I’ve been a nanny/babysitter/tutor for around 7 years, I’m trilingual (English, Spanish, Swedish), i have a drivers license (type b) I have references, I have a pediatric CPR & first aid training, certifications in early child development training, and i even have a nanny certification from a nanny agency i worked at.
I’d also love if anyone has some tips on finding a serious family, since I’d consider myself a serious candidate. Ive only been reached out to by families that are offering insanely low rates (2.5€/h?? And like 10h work a day..)
Anything helps. Thank you so much.
