Do people here think about where their financial tracking data is stored?

Something I’ve been thinking about lately is that most of us are careful about where we keep our money, but not always where we store data about our money.

A lot of apps for budgeting, spending, or net worth tracking sync to a company’s servers. For most people that may be fine, but for anyone holding significant assets across multiple categories — crypto, precious metals, cash, bank accounts — that data can be pretty sensitive.

Do people here actually care whether financial tracking data is stored locally or in the cloud? Or is that mostly a niche concern?
