Any recommendation for a gifted book ?!

Resource

Hey ! Recently, with a friend of mine, we started playing chess and it’s an awesome game.

While I’m more of a video learning guy, he always wanted to get his hands on some books to learn. Atm he is around 1300 puzzle, 350 rapid and 250 blitz and I was wondering what kind of book would be good for that level. Also if a french version existed i’d be more than pleased aha (yeah i know baguette aha).

I checked Levy’s (gothamchess) as I am a subscriber (and also bc it’s translated) but I didn’t find anything that complicated or that he doesn’t already include in his videos.

I also checked « the complete manual of positional chess, the Russian chess school 2.0 » but it is described for elos far beyond his rapid, but not so far from puzzle rating.

Any recommendation concerning these or better ones ? Thank you in advance for your time!
