The “dream life” in Spain is real… but it comes with this

I’m Dutch and my boyfriend is Spanish.

When we moved to the Netherlands, even he struggled to adapt there…

Now we live in Ibiza and we honestly love it.

But no one really talks about this part:

– How slow everything moves
– Last minute plans are the norm
– Things rarely go “by the book”
– You have to let go of control a bit

At first it’s frustrating, especially if you’re used to structure.

But over time, you start to understand it…

And honestly, it’s kind of beautiful.
