Found this at auction: Miyoko Ito’s signed 1950 lithograph “Asleep” – heads up to collectors

Hey art folks, just came across this early Miyoko Ito piece up for bids. “Asleep” (1950), a signed, titled, and dated lithograph on Basingwerk Parchment. Delicate and atmospheric — classic Ito.

She’s a major Chicago abstract artist with works in the Art Institute of Chicago and other big collections. This one feels like a quiet gem from her early period.
