How do I stop all these Spam calls I’ve been getting?

I’ve been getting an unreasonably high amount of spam phone calls lately; since 6:30 AM until 1:30 PM I’ve received 31 spam calls.

I have an iPhone and set up the filtering phone calls but I’m not sure if that hurts because they’re being “answered” or if it’s just preventing them from being a nuisance. About 1 out of 5 are making it through the filter and my phone is ringing.

I’ve already filed with Do Not Call registry (USA) but I don’t think that helps.

Any advice or recommendations are appreciated because these calls are starting to drive me crazy!
