Take or not take?

I applied for a scholarship for a program that I really want to take part in. However, they require a fee (though reduced; it’s a partial scholarship) which still is a lot for me given that I’m unemployed and financially struggling. There are interesting courses I want to take as they are close to my research but I’m really not sure about paying fees that I cannot afford. The amount may be reasonable to people who are well off but to me, $3500 is a big money. I thought about washing dishes at night or getting cleaning jobs to pay for it but I’m not sure if it’s still worth it. Any opinions? Thank you so much!
