CS Items not free after 9pm?

I just did some shopping at Tesco and I do have a colleagues card, I scanned some CS reduced items and only the discount on the sticker applied, I then scanned my colleague card and just my employee discount applied, the CS items were still priced. Did I do something wrong? it was past 9pm when I scanned the colleague card.
