rewatching and noticing how completely silent and awkward joe can be

just picked up on something i didn’t really focus too much on before. i’m on season 1 of my rewatch and i am picking up on how silent joe is, something that forty points out in season 2. and her own weird stalker shit aside, i can see why peach was already apprehensive about joe.

if you’ve got the time, i recommend going back and rewatching the scene where joe and peach meet for the first time at her party, it’s honestly hilarious. hopefully in your next rewatch you guys notice how painfully quiet joe is when he’s inner monologuing, definitely awkward LOL. maybe ur would help to turn down the volume as he monologues so you can better simulate what it’s like for the people interacting with joe in the scene.
