Delaying IOG Fox

Hi,

I spoke to Octopus last week and was told I could let them know when I wanted to fix and they'd delay it as late as possible (around 30 days I think).

I then rang back up this week to agree it and got into a whole new conversation round and round the houses and eventually the operative said they needed to check with the smart team and would email me. They eventually did 2 days later after a Greg's email saying it's not possible to delay fixing. Now the delta is much less now than it was as we're going from 5.2p to 6.9p so it's less relevant, but I don't like constantly being given different info.

Other people are still talking about delaying their fix eg 15th June mentioned in one thread. Is that people switching from variable, or only future dates where they're arranging for a new fix when an existing one ends?
