Languages

I'm sorry to bring up the lack of transcription languages again, but this is major for me. In every other app with AI I use (with the exception of Claude.ai, and maybe therein lies the problem in Mem as well...) my language of choice, Norwegian, is possible to use when I want to transcribe something. This is not the case in Mem, otherwise my favorite tool of the last decade. We may only be some 5 million speakers of the language in the world, but it's still a lot and everybody else's got it in the toolbox. That's what frustrates me. It's what annoys me with Claude.ai as well (along with caps so low that I'm surprised every day), but the capabilities otherwise keep me there. So is the problem that you have chosen Claude as the transcription model? I don't get it. I go into the Perplexity.ai app and it's FLAWLESS in its dictation of my pretty mumbling Norwegian dialect. And Perplexity also can choose between different models. I use Voicenotes.com (which has transcribed my language since day 1) to transcribe audio notes and meetings and I copy those into Mem. It feels less than optimal when I see what capabilities Mem can have in every other department of catching stuff.

So for the last time (until the next time...), please. Add some more languages, hopefully mine as well
