Beat up in park by teens

Me 21M Asian-American, friend 22M white.

We were sitting at a nearby park near Shawarma Haifa and a group of about 20 drunk teens came and first asked if they could borrow our phones to call because their phone died. We said no because we sensed something suspicious. Then they were just conversing with us and they wanted me to say something in Georgian. I guess this is my fault cuz I said it and it’s probably something offensive, as soon as I said it he sucker punched me. After that we just ran and they chased after me kicking me and pulling my jacket. Somehow I managed to eventually get to the road without getting completely surrounded or beat up and without getting mugged either.

Overall came out with bruised jaw and scraped knee but I’m ok. Talked to cops but not expecting anything out of it since the teens ran away.

I guess PSA to avoid parks at night or be wary of teens as they will actually look for a fight.
