Would you read this monster taming book?

Project

I've always loved monster taming games or anything related to fantastical animals and there biology and ecology. I first wanted to make a game about it, but them i decided to do something more profund, so now, my first book as an amateur writer will be about monsters and taming them.

The book will be written as the journal of an unamed author, who is studying the mysterioues magical creatures of this fantasy world. In the way, he will tame some of them, find rare and legendary species, meet the many cultures of this world and how they coexist with monsters in different ways and even find out some mystery and legends about this monsters and the mysterious past of this world.

I want the level of complexity of the ecossystem to be similar to monster hunter, but with the charm and magic of pokemon, so it will have magic, but it's tied to the ecossytem of this world. Basically (what i thought until now), the world has somekind of soul or pure energy they runs through every part of it and give life energy to sustain every lifeform. Every monster, every plant, mineral and biome, evolved to adapt to this energy and can manifest it in different ways, depending on different factors. Some monsters might develop an special organ to convert the energy into fire balls, other monster can create ice blades and other more powerful (and probably super rare) monster, could even bend time.

Of course, not every liferform can manipulate it's own energy, maybe cause it has a low level or just didn't adapt the capicity to do it, this incules some animals in the bottom of the food chain and humans, but humans can still do something incredible, something i call "symbiosis". This is the process when a human can form a bond with a monsters and they can share both of there energies to each other and as retribuition, the monster can share some of it's magical abilities to the human and depending of the intencity of the bond, they can feel each others emotions and even undesrtand each other without any.

I just think this idea sounds so fun for worldbuilding and to create many species of monsters. I think it would be something i would be madly in love as a kid, but i wanted to know about you. Do you like this idea?
