I feel this surgery can be useless for many people and even cause more problems than they had.

I understand that there are people who got benefits from it and it is life changing for them.

But the fact that nothing is guaranteed, and recovery is tough, and it can even cause complications is really something to be concerned about.

Like you can have some congestion that is bothering you and bothering your sleep, and you go happy about getting surgery, and then you might end up with empty nose or septal perforation or overcorrect the deviation, and later you find the deviation came back again and is worse than before.
