Will mii relationships degrade if you don’t play?

Basically I can only play the new tomodachi life every other week because of personal reasons but I’m worried about my miis relationships tanking in the 5ish days I’ll be gone every other week, my island is literally all ships from various media I like and I’m working on their relationships actively and I don’t want them to decline because I’m gone.
