Is this a good time to return to the game?

Hey, kinda returning player here. Dropped the game around 2021 because I felt like I was hitting a wall and all I was doing is just the daily reputation stuff and a TFO or two. Never got very far in any of the reps because it just took so loooong, and I felt extremely limited by not wanting to spend money out the ass (only things I ever bought were the legendary Miranda and the temporal pack).

so I was wondering, is the game any better in these regards, particularly the p2w? is there more stuff to do?
