Splitting vials

My insurance kicked me off Zepbound at the beginning of the year so now I’m paying out-of-pocket for the vials through Eli Lilly Direct.

I’ve been on a maintenance dose of 2.5 for a while, but had my doctor called in a 5mg script with the goal of splitting the doses to extend them. I know in the Mounjaro maintenance sub lots of people do this with the auto-injector pens. Anyone find success splitting the single dose vials safely here?
