Homeowner repairs?

2.5 years ago, my wife and I bought a house needing major repairs. Professionally, upgraded all the electrical, installed a heat pump and tankless water heater.

But, by myself as an amateur, I have repainted the entire house, put new kitchen cabinets, butcherblock countertop, bathroom vanity (from 2 drawer upgraded to 9 drawer), and all new windows replacing the 1950 originals (that were in bad shape) with a much more energy efficient model. Upgraded all the doors and resealed them. I put a chain link fence around the back yard that is arguably better than the next door neighbors professional installed one.

Here is my question: With all the improvements that I have made, does the fact that I did so much just DYI, which look good but still not professional, are they worth having done myself? When you show a home, do people say: Oh, those windows are not perfect, but very acceptable? Or, that vanity sits 3 inches to the left of where it should (done because of plumbing)?

Basically, am I doing more harm then good by doing my own remodels since Iam not a pro, but just very good? My wife says I am my own worse critic.
