so long story short i’m pregnant, trying to quit nicotine, and just started a new job in a field i’ve never been in before, so im very stressed out. i can imagine he is too just because of the baby.

i had a horrible day at work and i called my boyfriend from my car to tell him about it, my coworkers tend to “haze” me and don’t really listen to me when i need help or ask questions and it can be very frustrating. he offered to give me the contact of a lady who he recently had a job interview with because he thought it would be a good fit for me especially since it’s a remote job. 

I pull into a gas station and park for gas and i ask him to give me her name. he only gave me her first name so i asked for her last name and her number. he goes on about “yeah but then i have to dig thru my phone and find it” even though he JUST offered… “i was like that’s ok i have time im at the gas station”, before i can even continue speaking he goes “NO, im not sending it to you while you’re driving you’ll have to wait til you pull over”. i responded “i just told you i’m at the gas station, Im parked, were you not listening to me?” and says, with kind of a nasty tone, “plus you’re already SO worked up and need to calm down before you talk to anyone else. you’re f\*\*king driving (insert my name here) you don’t need to right now anyway”

the tone really hurt my feelings even though i respect he doesn’t want me to text and drive. plus, i told him twice already that i had parked, i said “are you sure you’re really listening to me? where did that come from?” he goes, “you’re just too worked up right now to talk about this apparently, just wait til you get home”

so he hung up on me, and accused me of hanging up on him because i guess he felt bad? or maybe something else? i don’t know. and he’s been texting me off a burner number telling me i’m a horrible psychotic being since i blocked his number after the first screenshot. i cropped it to remove his name. o have no clue what he’s talking about in the second screenshot where he says “i ain’t met up with no one”… i wasn’t accusing him of meeting with this lady i just wanted her info to get a job.

am i overreacting because i was upset that he didn’t listen? am i in the wrong here? i dont know what to do or how to reconcile. i want my baby’s father in his life but i cant deal with this kind of treatment. i dont know if what im feeling is wrong or not because i know im pregnant and hormonal. i just need advice please
