Do you use lens protection?

I just got a new iphone and am planning to use it for a short film rather than my DSLR.

Just wondering what the consensus is on lens covers? My phone’s always going in and out of my pocket, would hate to see scratches or damage to my camera lenses.

Anyone experienced any issues?
