Dissertation: methodology changed last minute
Hi everyone,
I have to submit my dissertation next Monday and I'm very much done with the writing. I finished everything 2 days ago, but I had to change my methodology last minute. I was originally planning to use a mixed method (interview + survey), but the survey didn't collect enough answers so I changed it to a full qualitative research method.
I tried to contact my tutor several times this week to let her know about this change and to ask her a couple more questions and she said she would read my email as soon as possible, but despite all my follow-ups she still didn't give me a proper answer.
I'm very very worried about what's gonna happen next, and especially whether I could potentially fail for this reason.
Can someone please advise on this?
PS: part of my qualitative research involves user reviews via platforms such as Tripadvisor, so this probably needs approbation from my tutor to include in my work as it implies ethical considerations.
