Progression for new player

Greetings- I am a brand new player to the game and series but not to ARPGs. I am running a Chromatic Shot Sage and hit level 65 and I believe T2 maps or at least what I would consider maps. There are so many vendors and different mechanics in town that I have opted to just run these maps until the tutorial points me in a new direction. I geared up with legendary trove gear so I have not crafted or purchased gear ect. Should I just keep grinding out tiers until I hit a wall and then start exploring the vendors or is there a different suggestion since I am completely new? I did spend some money since I do enjoy the game so my pacts are decent but just not sure what my next priorities should be. Appreciate any advice and thanks
