Does anyone else find the term ‘supply’ or ‘new supply’ demeaning/degrading to the next man/women? It dehumanises them

We all know narcissists taylor their abuse to each victim and it seems devastatingly formulaic, too. My ex couldn’t have hurt me more and I will pay a price for life. But I feel so uncomfortable seeing the next victims called ‘supply‘ here… even though I know narcissists objectify and use people. They are ultimately victims, too.
