Z9 Vertical Grip, Just a Curiosity

I shoot motorsports and glamour for a living and have two Z9's that I love, but am just curious about something that came up in a convo with a fellow shooter the other day.

Do you use the vertical grip when shooting handheld?

I never do, it just takes too long to switch from one grip to the other, so I only use the vertical grip if I have one of my bodies locked off on a tripod shooting in portrait orientation. When handheld, I keep my hand on the same grip and simply turn the camera.

What's everybody else do with their Z9 or any body with an add-on battery pack/vertical grip?
