New to Reddit, Music Promo and Digital Marketing

Hey all, I am new to reddit and I was wondering if anybody had any digital marketing advice or indie related subreddits I should check out? I'm currently working on a folksy rock project about mental health in rural America, but living in rural America, live performance isn't really a great way to promo my music. I doubt anything is going to come out of digital marketing either, but I think it would be fun to try out, any advice? I can share some music if you folks are interested as well, but I'd like to hear what all of you are making before I do!
