2022 SL infotainment system dead

So our infotainment system went out about a month ago. Completely off. I tried soft resets and hard resets (full battery disconnect) and checked the fuses (all closed)

Wife took it in today to the dealership for state inspection and they said there’s a problem with the electrical and it’s dead. I’m waiting for a detailed breakdown but they said it has to be replaced to the tune of $3000. It’s just 6 months outside the warranty. Has anyone had this happen and been successful with getting some kind of good faith credit with the cost from corporate?
