I’ve spent the last several months building something that I believe is fundamentally different from what most people are calling “AI” today.

Not a wrapper.
Not a prompt system.
Not a chatbot with extra steps.

I built a local-first cognitive runtime.

A system where:

• Cognition happens before any model is called
• Memory is structured, continuous, and auditable
• Safety, identity, and relationships are first-class runtime components
• The model is treated as a renderer—not the source of truth
• Boundaries are enforced, not implied

This isn’t theoretical anymore.
The core runtime, contracts, and invariants are implemented and working.

Now I’m at the point where this needs to go from:
