Scared I'll do surgery and they won't find endometriosis

Surgery related

For context,

I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago for Adenomyosis. My surgeon had suspicions that I also had endometriosis so she was going to check and remove it during my hysterectomy. She said she found endometriosis on my left uterosacral ligament which wasn't surprising since most of my pain was on my left side/nerve pain. However, pathology came back negative for endometriosis. My surgeon was surprised and told me she believed the sample got messed up. But I chose to believe I didn't have it and I felt great post surgery.

Now 2 years later, all of my pain has returned with a vengeance. Left side pain/nerve pain that shoots down my leg. I'm unable to work much, keep up with my kids, exercise etc. my primary care doctor believes it's endometriosis causing the pain. Since my flares seem to be real bad once a month. But with daily pain. She wants me to see a surgeon and have another endometriosis removal surgery. However I'm afraid to do it and they don't find anything and I feel stupid with no answers for the pain.
