[PC][2000’s???] pixelated horror rpg with a red-haired girl as the protagonist

It might have been of Japanese origin, but I remember watching a play-through of it in English years ago on YouTube. The start of the game had this young girl as the protagonist, and I think there was something about her needing to get a shot once a day/week for something?? Her dad warned her against going into the forest near her house, but her dog ran into the forest, and she went into the forest to find it. Then, she began to hear this mysterious, seemingly omniscient voice in her head. When her dad found her in the forest, he took her into this lab-dungeon type of place?? He put her into a white room, and fed her one serving of rice a day. He would perform experiments on her, I remember one in particular where he put her in a cage and dunked the cage into water repeatedly to see how well she could hold her breath. I think it was revealed that he was hearing the same voice as her, and the voice was driving them both to commit violent acts. The voice eventually drove her to eat the remains of her dog, and then it drove her to escape and kill a bunch of people. That’s all I remember.
